No doubt, a second home to the Boot Camp extended family, Toronto welcomes a classic line up of the label's O.G.'s alongside the hottest new act to drop on Duck Down Records in a very long time. That is, Black Moon and Smif N' Wessun are in town this week, revisiting their legendary debut albums "Enta Da Stage" and "Dah Shinin', respectively... DJ Evil Dee of The Beatminerz (the production team responsible for the tracks behind these celebrated classics) will be conducting the show as DJ/Maestro... This will be a hype show, take it from the BDI Thug when he says, "it's a monumental occasion for us to be able to re-visit the albums that started our careers in music. It's a pure honor to take this show experience to Toronto, where we have one of the most loyal community of fans." T.O Loves Duck Down, cuz Duck Down Loves T.O. Warming up the crowd will be a hometown hero, teamed up with one of BK's spittinest. Marco Polo and Torae are "Double Barrel". "Double Barrel" the album is in stores now and MP and Torae will be kicking things off in a typical Duck Down fashion... Rugged tracks and some true to life lyrics delivered with just the perfect amount aggression. Also keep eyes peeled for the big homie, DJ Linx holding down the deck's for this gruesome twosome. I ASSUME I WILL SEE YOU THERE!
