The folks at Offshoot have had some amazing times listening to Prince. so to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of one of the 'best album sin the last 25 years', i have put together a list of fun Prince facts that my young ass never knew before.

• Scientists recently concluded that throughout the 80s, Prince looked 37.2 times cooler than the average pop star.
• Big C and his sister used to fight over which album to listen to. Sister wanted to boogie to MJ, while the Big C wanted the sexiness of Prince.
• Purple Rain soundtrack scooped Prince an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score.
• Mansa's rendition of Purple Rain with the famous falsetto by Mar Beezy may actually be one of the best karaoke moments known to man.
• Prince's appearance at the Super Bowl XLI Halftime show ensured it was the fourth most-watched programme in US TV history, coming in right behind the M*A*S*H* finale.
• Killa has been crawling naked out of the bathtub ever since the 'When Doves Cry' video aired on MuchMusic.

• In the 02 Arena in the UK, Prince once shouted at the audience, "You can't handle me! I got too many hits!"
• Rumour has it that many of the members of the New Power Generation [band] quit shortly after this picture was taken, unhappy with Prince's demands that musicians should always stand at a 45-degree angle.
