It's been a long time coming but we're happy to see the ascension. This Wednesday is the Toronto stop @ Sound Academy, for Drake's monumental tour that has all these young women singing along with his mixtape. Who needs an album, when you make hits from your digital downloads, peep the footage from Houston below.
We already told you that Shootlife was in the building holding down the amazing show put on by D.C. ambassador Wale this past Sunday. Here's the video of his opening and closing tracks.

Been on the road heavy this past week-end! Here's some shots from an amazing show on Sunday that featured Wale's first show in Toronto with local unsung hero Colin Munroe opening. Considering Wale has 3 official mixtapes out there and random sprinkling of guest verses this show was beyond expectations. With a live go-go band Wale kept the energy level up for faithful fans and new converts. If this D.C. representative is in your city make sure you attend, Wale has a place to stay in what's left of this hip-hop game.

Is $16(plus applicable taxes) a good enough reason to kick it at the Mod Club this Sunday? I think we're going to have to tell you again that this show is a do not miss. Wale is taking his rap game serious and you need to bear witness his first time touching down in T.O. this Sunday. Make sure you bring a set of Nike's to the Mod Club, for some reason they need to be in the air at the show. Take in the Audio and info below.

Here we go again! Nas, Jr. Gong, Common, The Roots, Big Boi, House of Pain, Reflection Eternal, do we have to list the whole thing to really convince you how dope this is going to be? I guess not, wait patiently for the summer dates. For the locals they have two dates north of the border in T.O. & Van. Stay tuned to Guerilla Nation
20 years ago, Big Daddy Kane came through the game raw like sushi with his dancers Scoob and Scrap. Coming back to Toronto to rip up The Phoenix with half his dance team was still enough to keep the crowd going full throttle for his hour set. Performing tracks like Ain't No Half Steppin', Raw, & Warm It Up Kane to mention a few. Not to mention he still has his steps together, check the videos below and make sure you check him if he passes through your vicinity.

This D.C. native has been on the grind for the past couple of years. Dropping his A Mixtape About Nothing last year that featured Elaine from Seinfeld among Lil' Wayne & Bun-B. Also, he has been featured in LRG's ad campaigns and just recently released a track featuring Lady Gaga. So now it's time for Wale to bless Toronto for a Meet & Greet and Concert in a month's time. Put April 26 in your smartphone.
